The renaissance of Yarra Valley wine is owed entirely to the efforts of Dr. Bailey Carrodous, the late founder of Yarra Yering. For half of a century he steered this legendary winery on a course of understated excellence and unending experimentation, simultaneously building the reputation of 'The Yarra' to its legend of today. The Pinot Noir is a true benchmark, full of fresh, earthy tones, perfumed truffle complexities, and with the integrity to last for decades. Though the man has passed, the vines he so loved live on.
