Tscharke The Potter Garnacha 2008

  • Region Barossa Valley, SA
  • Type Red
  • Size 750ml
  • Alcohol 15%
This is another look at Seppeltsfield Grenache, but with a twist. Old vine Grenache and French oak is such a turn on. Its clean and elegant, yet spicy and strong. This is a classical example of refined Grenache in all its glory. It has a seamless palate, a silky texture and a long, long finish. A fantastic example of one of the Barossa’s greatest grapes. -DD

Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
 says:

Beautiful wine. Silken, impeccably structured, medium weight in its flavour and not too sweet. All fresh-tilled earth, dry raspberries, bitumen and malt/cedarwood. Perfectly balanced and a joy to drink.
