Purple Palate

The Skuttlebutt range aims to deliver the typically lush and regional Stella Bella style in a more forward manner. The 2008 Shiraz Cabernet presents its rich, flavourous fruit in a very approachable structure, giving plenty of upfront black fruit, soft plumb, pepper and herbs. Its tannin are a touch more brittle than the estate range, allowing for a mouth-coating experience of the spiced fruit, with allusions to warm Christmas pudding, vanilla bean and mocha. -NT
