Purple Palate

It’s been a while since Australia had a love affair with the old ‘classic dry white’ styles, so it’s refreshing to taste this wine and reminisce. The nose jumps up as a strong young Sauv Blanc should, with its freshly cut grass overtones, to be perfectly married to the lusciousness and slight oiliness of the lanolin like Semillon. Together, these varieties provide a wonderfully textured, and very enjoyable drink. -DD
