Purple Palate

In its old fashioned tall brown bottle, it conjures images of a time, decades ago, when this was the expected style from a majority of Australian Rieslings. This, however, adds a new age touch of class to 17 grams of residual sugar to allow it to both have fruit sweetness, and retained freshness without the old school palate fat of yesteryear. The nose is vibrant, showcasing elegant white stone fruit aromas, leading to a an array of tropical fruits on the palate. The perfect wine with a Vietnamese salad, or any Asian inspired feasts that would include chili and coriander. The lovely delicate sweetness of the wine and spiciness of the meal would be an outstanding match indeed. -DD
