Purple Palate

One of the surviving Aussie whites still under cork, this aged release shows subtle lanolin characters on the nose with its light golden color gleaming in the glass. The wine displays a combination of restrained oiliness and clean acidity, with a lovely velvety texture gliding across the palate. There is a touch of lemon spread on toast, and a nuttiness about its flavour also, adding to its mystique and complexity. - DD
