Intensity of oak, intensity of tannin and such wonderful fruit characters are all traits of this well crafted wine. There is great love in this wine, the Radford’s have excelled themselves by nurturing the fruit quality and treating us to some brilliant oak and while it is still a baby, in time it will be truly magnificent. -SG

This has the distinctive air of Eden Valley's lofty spice and fragrance with the requisite understated power to place it at the front of the pack. Dark blackberry and plum fruits, and dark spices, some pepper and fragrant, cedary oak too. The palate moves through red fruits and really showcases regional spice amid finely sheeted tannins and fresh, bright acid crunch. Lovely structural build, superb balance and outstanding quality for the money.
