Purple Palate

Flushed with dusted chocolate and cassis, this is now taking on some secondary characters of leather and truffle. A distinct rustic edge adds complexity to the berry and plum flavours, with plenty of Eden Valley spice on the finish. Varietal leaf and capsicum sit in the background and there are minty highlights too. Firmly in its drinking window and crying out for roast lamb. -JP
