Purple Palate

Rick and Jess Loan are fortunate enough to have a good planting of the wonderful Alicante Bouchet grape whose claim to fame is that it is one of only a handful of varieties that not only have dark skins, but red juice as well. This is a delicate, low-alcohol wine with a lingering, tingly finish. -DD
