The Jack’s has become one of our most popular Shiraz over the years. The 2009 is arguably the best Jack’s we’ve seen. Sourced from the Kalleske family's Home block at Greenock and the Hill and Moppa vineyards, the 2009 introduces itself with a vibrant crimson appearance and lifted aromas of mulberries, blueberries and plums. Spice and black pepper on the nose, rich black fruits, chocolate and liquorice flood the palate, framed by lovely sweet cedary oak. A complete western Barossa Shiraz that punches so far above its weight, it’s almost criminal! –JL
