Purple Palate

It is most unfortunate that Pinot Noir is so expensive... usually. If you love the subtlety and finesse of fine Pinot but can’t always justify the exorbitant price then give this wine a chance. Sweet-sour cherry in the front palate carries into savoury mid palate and decent finish, with menthol overtones. It’s not going to change the world, yet it is unusual to find Pinot that tastes like ‘real’ Pinot under $30, so this is a real opportunity. - MC
