Kaesler Stonehorse Shiraz 2006

  • Region Barossa Valley, SA
  • Type Red
  • Size 750ml
  • Alcohol 15.5%
Made in a soft-easy going style, the Stonehorse gives up generous aromas of black cherries, fruits of the forest and hints of cassis and spice. This is a full-bodied Barossan with dark berries on the palate, mingling with spice box and liquorice. - JL

 says:

Inevitably mouthfilling, but has attractive plum, prune and licorice flavours on the mid-palate which manage to carry the alcohol very well; scrappy cork. Cork.

 says:

This delivers a lot of flavour with 15.5% alcohol yet doesn't taste unbalanced. Meaty Shiraz nose with violets and floral overtones; then a smooth, flowing palate combining primary fruit and savoury flavours. A big wine with a touch of warmth to finish.
