Purple Palate

Greystone has really made its name on the back of its outstanding Pinot Gris. The 2011 another stunner. Typical pear and spice on the nose and honey, pear and nutty nuances on the full palate. The schisty style of this Gris is a wonderful expression of creamy minerality, which is a very hard quality to get right. Though, as with so many of the Greystone wines, this is just about perfect. -Ed.
