Purple Palate

As well as coming from the original Summers vineyard in the Eden Valley, fruit for this cool-climate Chardonnay draws on the regional influence of the Adelaide Hills. The result is a wine of elegant balance and deceptive power, classically themed with white peach, lemon and oak spice. Combining mineral finesse and textural richness, it finishes with a hint of schisty creaminess, and gentle nutty complexities. -Ed.
