Purple Palate

The Shadrach Cabernet Sauvvignon comes from select, premium fruit sourced from the Corryton Park vineyard in Eden Valley, in combination with parcels from the Barossa Valley floor. As expected, the Eden brings fragrance, structure and integrity, while to Barossa floor contributes intensity and depth. Blackberry, blacurrants, dark chocolate and aniseed are hallmarks of this wine. The tannins are silky but firm. Rich, plush and textural, this is Barossa Cabernet that combines boldness and finesse. From a very good vintage, it will cellar gracefully. -Ed.
