The Cameron Vale Cabernet comes from vines planted through the early 70s, in a part of the Barossa Valley bordered by the Lyndoch sub-region. Typical Cabernet characteristics of currants black and red are underlined by crunchy fresh garden leaves and black spices. This is a restrained and structured Barossa Cabernet, powerful and full-flavoured without being overty heavy or dense. The result is quality, fresh aromatics, bright acidity, and the potential for medium term aging. This is a classic example of mature vines producing wines of complexity, integrity and compelling style.Ed.
