This wine sees 27 months in new and seasoned French oak, but the quality fruit has already gobbled most of that up. Barossa Cabernet isn't really about finesse or elegance but it's an interpretation of the grape that deserves more attention. Wines such as the 2007 ASIF will hopefully help that happen. -JP
