Purple Palate

These wines are made by Chapman Grove as a tribute to the many canine companions that have shared the vineyards with the staff for so many years. Pardon the pun, but there's not a dog among them. The 2009 Dry White is crisp & refreshing with just a little sweetness to help it slide down. Citrus and peach dominate with some cut grass and a sprinkle of herbs at the end. Sit back and enjoy a glass in the afternoon or serve with just about any poultry dish (I'd go with a roast chook and all the trimmings myself). -JP
