Purple Palate

This classic blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mouvedre has been vinified to maximize the primary fruit of this tested trinity. In 2009, a mere six months between vintage and bottling has brought out the most expressive of Grenache's sour cherry elements, Shiraz's fresh black spices, and Mouvedre's inky, violet perfume. A lightly textured but profoundly flavoured wine, it finishes with a long strand of strawberry, liquorice, and dry milk chocolate. -NT
