Petaluma's second tier Bridgewater Mill is an ardently regional range that delivers good value and distinction. The Shiraz has all the hallmarks of great Adelaide Hills 'Syrah.' Savoury and spicy, it has a lovely medium body, fine tannins and gently fragrant oak. Particularly suited to food, it's typically restrained and complex, themed by black and red berries, vanilla bean, and dusty mocha influences. -Ed.
