Purple Palate

Last year's vintage of this wine was a great deal more 'herby' on the nose and lighter. The 2010 vintage is softer with more tropical flavours, but it still has that rustic waft of mowed lawns, daffodils, wattle trees and lime. Loads of apple and citrus flavours on the palace, the acidity is very good in this wine, making it the perfect match for softer Thai dishes. - DJ
