Purple Palate

This is a classic old “Aussie claret” style, showing eucalypt and blackberry characters on the nose and a lovely creamy palate. The Basedow surname has had a strong association with the Australian wine industry, and it is within this brand, that the three Basedow brothers continue their family’s legacy. The ‘Pauline’ was the name of the ship that bought the family to Australia in the 1840’s. -DD
