Purple Palate

A wine that has never held back, every trick in the book is employed to give the fruit of this vineyard its due. An intimite pruing regime, wild yeast ferment, and intense French oak aging make for a boistrous expression of Marlborough Chardonnay. Typically, the fruit shows nutty complexity, nougat, lime tart and lemon. Creamy, unsparingly oaked, and yet centred by a subtle nerve of top quality, cool-climate fruit. -NT
