Purple Palate

Just as though you were in the winery and drawing wine from a barrel, the wine shows intense toffee and tobacco as well as tight toasted oak. Then it all starts to flow: raw rhubarb, beetroot, gamey earthiness and perfectly cooked truffles. The palate is very smooth and very soft, showing earthy spearmint notes and even, long tannins. - SG
