Purple Palate

With the rise of New Zealand aromatic whites, its easy to forget that some of the most well established riesling vines in NZ come from Marlborough, and indeed from the properties of Allan Scott. 2009 promises plenty of citrus aromas, and a rich, mineral palate of intense, spicy fruits. Marlborough riesling has elagence in its youth yet established examples of integrity and structure, such as this, can age for the long-term. -NT
