Security, Delivery, Returns, Guarantee
1. Security:
- You can shop in confidence on this website. All credit card and personal information is sent and received using secure ecommerce software, protecting against disclosure to any third party.
2. Freight charges:
- SE QLD – (Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast) orders of $100 or more are delivered FREE of charge. For orders under $100 there is a $10 delivery charge.
- All other destinations in Australia, (except WA and NT) orders over $200 are delivered FREE of charge. For orders under $200 there is a $10 delivery charge.
- WA and NT - $20 delivery for all orders.
- We aim to deliver your order within seven to ten days of receipt of your order, although orders of back vintage wine may take a little longer.
3. Delivery
- Deliveries usually take place between 9am and 5pm. All deliveries must be signed for. If you are not at home to receive your delivery the courier will leave a card for you to arrange collection at a later date. Alternatively you may leave ‘special instructions’ for the courier to leave the delivery while you are out, (eg: in your garage or porch), however neither the courier nor Purple Palate will then take any responsibility for the box after delivery.
- All goods must be checked at the time of delivery. Purple Palate must be contacted by phone or email, within two days, in the event of breakages or shortfalls.
- Please contact us within two weeks of receiving the email confirmation of your order if you have not received your delivery.
4. Limitation of Liability
- We are unable to accept responsibility for consequential losses caused by leaking or broken goods.
4. Returns:
- Any claim for breakages, shortfalls or errors must be made within two working days of receipt of delivery.
5. Guarantee:
- At Purple Palate we endeavour to supply simply the best quality wine. If a wine is corked or faulty we will offer a replacement or credit on the return of the bottle and cork, (for testing). However if a wine has been kept too long, (see the cellaring advice on our site), or stored inappropriately we are unable to offer a refund.
